Mini Miner Activities

On the first Saturday of every month we put on special activities for the younger visitors to the Dynamo House Café. We call these our Mini-Miner Activities. These can be outdoor active events or indoor craft activities. Whatever the activities are they are all free to take part in. We ask that parents or guardians stick around while the children take part in the activity so that they are still considered responsible for their children.

In the past the activities have ranged from dressing up as miners in boiler suits and searching for coal down our canvass tunnels, to making collage pictures on watercolour backgrounds. The activities vary but most are suitable for children over three years old, perhaps with a little help from a parent or sibling for younger participants.
