Photos of Mill Lakes taken in 1978 passed on to us by Sue Cooper
When the Mill Lakes area was initially created in 1973 it was a very open space with little vegetation. It offered little in the way of habitat or cover for wildlife and was very exposed. Compare these shots from 1978 to the location today on your walk round the lake.
